The Left Side of The Mural

As most of you know, I began this mural over three years ago. I don't think I even touched it for one whole year. This week I finished most of the left half of the mural. It still needs a few abstract ducks in the pond, but otherwise, this may be as good as it gets. Do you think I'm crazy for painting on our living room wall? I kinda do every time I look at it.

Tara, congratulations!

I know how hard it is to work on painting the walls around children!!! You are inspiring me to finally outline my last mural in the kids' room and write the last phrase up there.

My art appreciation teacher at BYU would always say that original art is the only art to have in the home, and that children need to grow up with it around them. The flat prints that we all buy to cover our walls do not do it. Even original photography is great. So, good job!
