Bow-making

So, my husband thinks I'm obsessed with bow-making. He might be right. But, aren't they fun and pretty? I can't wait to get started on my new business of making custom outfits and matching bows for little girls and baby girls. Sooooo fun. I'll post more of them once I get the pattern perfected. I am going to sew matching t-shirt tops with a centered designer patch and ruffle-bottomed pants in a matching fabric with a matching hairbow and sell the whole outfit. What a fabulous shower gift!!! :) I am sooooo excited. My friend Aimee is going to help me develop a brochure and cards to let people know what's available. I am SO excited! :) I hope my sewing machine (which my mom used for a long long time before me) holds up to the new projects! :)

Tara, I love your blog!!! Thanks so much for teaching us to make the bows because I think that it is my new obsession too. It definately took me a little while to catch on but I have made three more bows since the party.
It has been so fun getting to know you better lately!!
Happy Birthday to you. I hope you have a special day!!!

Thanks Lynette! I am so glad you like making bows. I think it is such a fun hobby and I love when other people are interested in something I think is so fun.

Love the bows, and the idea of the new outfts! I wish Emmawould keep bows in her hair. I distract her as much as possible, but she always finds them. Maybe my new little girl will be different...when she grows hair. :)
